1971 Corvette Automatic Transmission Reverse Switch Replacement

How to replace the reverse (back up lights) & neutral safety switch on a C3 Corvette with automatic transmission. This one had been broken and "JB Welded" as an attempt at repair. Of course that did not work, but a prior mechanic just put it back together and hoped no one would notice!
