Exploring an Abandoned Quetico Ranger Station. Solo Canoe Trip.

In this video, I'll be exploring an old abandoned Ranger Station. There is also some clips from the journey to get to this area. This Ranger Station is located 17km from Lac La Croix. Or 34km there and back. It's about 4 hours of paddling to get to there one way. This Ranger Station has been abandoned now for over 26 years. It was a remote place of work for many years on the lake. Serving as an entry point to Quetico Provincial Park. This building would give out permits allowing paddlers to enter the park. It now sits, unattended to, vacant, and slowly decaying to time. This Ranger Station was replaced by a newer one built within the community of Lac La Croix itself in 1998.
