It's midnight, you're not even hungry, and somehow the whole tub of ice cream is gone. Blame a forager who lived 30,000 years ago.
For almost all of our history, Sapiens lived as hunter-gatherers. In Part 3 we spend a day with them: who they lived with, what they ate, how many hours they worked, what they knew, what they feared, and what they believed. We visit the dog buried in a woman's arms at Ain Mallaha, the painted cave of Lascaux, the Cave of the Hands in Argentina, the bead-covered graves of Sungir, and the darker sites of Jebel Sahaba and Ofnet. Then we ask the biggest question of all: what happened behind the curtain of silence?
