I Went Insect Hunting in My Garden and Caught Dragonflies, Butterflies & Grasshoppers

Every corner of the garden had something waiting to be found today. I started near the flowers, where a few butterflies were drifting lazily from petal to petal — easy to watch, harder to catch. Then a dragonfly caught my attention, darting fast near the edge of the grass, and it took a few tries before I finally got close enough. Deeper in, hidden among the leaves, I found a caterpillar slowly making its way along a stem, and a stink bug resting quietly nearby — the kind of small discovery you'd miss if you weren't really looking. A grasshopper rounded things out, leaping through the grass until it finally sat still long enough for me to catch it.
