I'd like to share with you the super easy first steps to perform before you start thinking about how to automate your business. That is... do a high-level diagram of your business functions. It may only take a few minutes to get this piece done, but when you do, you will have a roadmap to work from as you think about all the little things that happen when you automate. Think of it like this... Your business might be a thousand little jig saw puzzle pieces, but you can group those pieces into various larger steps like... order entry, order allocation, order picking, production, quality assurance, shipping, invoicing, and returns. In fact, I might have just laid out for you all the high level steps of order fulfillment.
