My Husband Gave Me the Birthday I Never Had! I had absolutely NO IDEA my husband was going to go this big for my birthday! This birthday was already special because it was my first birthday being married and celebrating as his wife, but my husband went above and beyond to make sure I felt loved, celebrated, and truly special. Birthdays have never really been a huge celebration for me unless I planned something myself or went away. In fact, I’ve only had one birthday party in my entire life — my Sweet 16 — and even that celebration was shared with an older uncle. So having someone take the time to intentionally plan a day around ME, surprise me, and make sure I felt celebrated meant more than he probably even realized. What I thought was going to be a simple birthday turned into a day filled with surprises, family, laughter, love, and memories I’ll never forget. ❤️ Marriage has already brought us so many beautiful firsts, and this was definitely one of them.
