Nyob zoo is! My name is Hope Thao, and as you all know, I am proud to come from Alaska. As I start this new chapter and move to a different state, I’m experiencing a mix of emotions, bittersweet but deeply grateful. For my final project in Alaska before my move, I wanted to share this special moment by celebrating and honoring the Alaska Hmong New Year through my song, "Xyoo Tshiab No." A HUGE THANK YOU to Ntxhais Tshaj Leej for collaborating with me on this song, and to my brothers for making this project fun and memorable.
