[4K] The Alton Ancestors Show at Alton Towers, join us in Towers Street as the Alton Ancestors have risen from the grave to roam the grounds of Alton Towers for Scarefest 2022. Prepare to dance along to this live entertainment or meet your doom!! Alton Ancestors are a flash mob dance party that takes place in front of the Scarefest sign at the bottom of Towers Street. The ghostly crowd wanders among Alton Towers guests posing for photos until eerie music starts compelling them to dance. This is a fantastic fun way to start your day at Scarefest. There are no set times but on opening weekend the show was around every 45 minutes until lunchtime. Scarefest is Alton Towers' biggest event of the year, celebrating Halloween with scare mazes, scare zones, characters and extended opening hours. Scarefest has been running at Alton Towers since 2007, however, Alton Towers did have a Halloween celebration with decorations several years before and operated the Terror of the Towers scare maze since 2002. Scarefest at Alton Towers has four scare attractions for 2022. The Invitation - New for 2022 is The Invitation, an audio-led experience with live actors and special effects in the dark. The Attic Scare Maze - the governess wants revenge and she'll take it by seizing the spirits of the living Altonville Mine Tours - the skin snatchers roam the old abandoned mine where they hide a horrifying secret Darkest Depths - climb about the mutiny for a terrifying adventure aboard the ghost ship where you come face to face with the Kraken! All Alton Towers Scare Mazess are recommended for guests at least 12 years old. Guests can visit all 4 Scarefest mazes at an additional cost of £32. Family Spooks at Scarefest Trick or Treat Town - a Halloween town especially for under 12s, an additional fee of £12 per Halloween bag, two adults can accompany a child and do not need to purchase a Halloween bag The Alton Towers Dungeon - a fun walkthrough of the Alton Towers Dungeon for plenty of laughs and screams, recommended for children over 10 years age, an additional fee is required.
