100 Years of Otto Ross

To kick off our celebration of 60 years of Mission Ridge, we’re honoring one of the people who made this place what it is. Otto Ross was teaching skiing around Wenatchee before Mission Ridge existed, and when our lifts first turned in 1966, he was here as assistant director of the ski school. He’s been a fixture on this mountain ever since, and this past winter, he celebrated his 100th birthday right here at The Ridge. This is the story of a true Mission Ridge legend.
