Deaf Culture Elephant Game - ASL Activity

The fast pace and rapid hand-eye coordination needed to play the elephant game have made this a favorite activity played by Deaf people of all ages. The game is an important part of Deaf culture so watch carefully and learn how to play! ASL Teachers: Use the elephant game to help teach first and second year ASL and Deaf culture students through different language-rich activities. Twenty-two activities on classifiers, numbers, fingerspelling, non-manual signals and more appear in the first volume of the ASL and Deaf Culture Activities Series, titled The Elephant Game.
