Marge Champion as Disney’s Snow White (1937) Live-Action References COMPARISON

The first live-action Disney Princess, Marge Champion, then Marjorie Belcher, helped the ‘Snow White’ animators at fourteen years old capture her movements by tracing, er, I mean having a reference to bring Walt Disney’s first feature film to life. 🍎 Marge also modeled for the Blue Fairy in ‘Pinocchio,’ Hyacinth Hippo in ‘Fantasia’ and Mr. Stork in ‘Dumbo,’ but they better have ran her a check for also using her dancing as Snow White for Maid Marian in ‘Robin Hood!’ Marge passed in 2020 at 101 years old, and I sure feel grateful this footage survived because it literally captures a masterpiece in the making. Thanks to The Cartoonian Archive on YouTube for this fantastic footage!
