The word ‘waz’ literally means advice, exhortation. Allah Ta'ala has used the word 'waz' in different ways in the Qur'an. He also instructed to give advice in synonymous words. Allah says, "(Allah) admonishes you, that you may learn a lesson" (Qur'an, 18:90). ‘You keep on giving advice, because advice is for the benefit of the believers’ (Qur'an, 51:55). the waz mahfil is well-organized and planned, then the practice of ethics and morality will increase in the society, crime will be reduced and it will be possible to build a beautiful and ideal welfare society. Because from time immemorial, a large part of the teachings of Iman, Amal, and ideal conduct have been received by the common people from Waz Mahfil.
