BANSKO/BANYA 🇧🇬 BULGARIA, Rila Monastery, Skiing, Thermal Spa & more!

Today we're exploring Bansko (банско) and Banya (баняа) in southwestern Bulgaria! skiing in the Pirin mountains, and the hot springs down the valley. Banya was settled by the Thracians around the 4th century BC for its mineral water, which comes out of the ground between 37 and 57°C.
