September 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. APTN, CBC/Radio-Canada and the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation are once again partnering to produce “Remembering the Children: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation”, a 90-minute commemorative gathering at Parliament Hill, on the unceded, unsurrendered territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation. Beginning at 11:00 a.m. ET, APTN News anchors Dennis Ward and Tiar Wheatle will provide live coverage from Ottawa as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation events unfold. At the end of the broadcast at 1:30 p.m. ET, APTN will continue its special programming with a 30-minute post-show.
