Brainerd Gully Stabilization

A $1.2 million gully stabilization in Brainerd backed by a Clean Water Fund grant the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources awarded to the Crow Wing SWCD curbed the erosion that threatened houses and had sent tons of sediment into the Mississippi River via Little Buffalo Creek. City and SWCD staff visited the site and discussed the project in October 2025.
