SUNRISE LIGHT - LARGE Studio oil Painting / Palette Knife / IMPASTO PAINT, Wet on Wet, Colour / Tone

Today I'm in the studio painting a major work, fresh back from a plein air field trip! I spent lots of time paddling in the canoe on the river, gathering visual information to bring back with me to the studio. This will be my reference material and inspiration for a large scale oil painting, done with palette knifes and painted on a clear primed Belgian linen. Join me as I create and explain my thoughts as I go. There will be plenty of footage of my time out there on the Murray River and this will be run throughout the show, during the painting process!
