She says a church phone started receiving his texts about picking up a young woman at the airport — and that the elders had no power to stop him. In Death of the Pastor’s Wife, Pastor Pam says she was brought in after JP and Mica’s relationship became public while both were still married to other people. She first treated it as a one-time mistake. Then, she says, the real John-Paul Miller became evident. Pastor Pam says the elders listened and did nothing — and that she learned Solid Rock’s structure left them with no authority over him at all.
