I bought a 172-year-old house with an antique mirror built into the upstairs hallway. At first, I loved it. Then I started feeling angry and miserable whenever I stood in front of it. My cats stopped going upstairs. Things disappeared and reappeared around the house. And at night, I could hear a woman whispering from the hallway. Then the dreams started. Every night, I found myself trapped inside the mirror, forced to watch a dark woman move through my house. I lived there for three years before finally selling it for a loss.
