I Harvested a Child on Chat's Orders, Then Got a Conscience | BioShock Remastered — Episode 1

Episode 1 of BioShock Remastered on Survivor, blind, with chat holding the wheel. A man asks me to save his wife and child, so naturally I go through the bins. The big one: the game hands me a Little Sister and asks whether to rescue her or harvest her for maximum ADAM. I weighed it up out loud, remembered my own rule that chat is the captain and every bad call is canon, and went with blood. Atlas tells me I did the right thing because them things aren't people no more, Tenenbaum asks how I could do this thing to a child, and about twenty-odd minutes later I'm announcing I'm a changed man who felt really bad about eating the slug, so the next one gets rescued. Very consistent, me. Elsewhere: I pause the famous plane crash to explain that bullets stop dead in water because hitting water is basically hitting concrete, then google who voices Atlas while he's begging me to step out of the bathysphere. I find a cream-filled cake in a bin and eat it like the fat cunt I am, and I drink the Arcadia Merlot and lose my EVE for the privilege. I brag at 49 minutes that I haven't died on the hardest difficulty, then die at 55. I hack what feels like every vending machine, turret and camera in the Medical Pavilion, pick up Hacker's Delight so hacking actually heals me, batter Steinman and then find 47 anti-personnel rounds I never fired. Big Daddies flatten me over and over with no health packs, until Security Bullseye turns Rapture's own guns on my problems.
