24-Drawer Reusable Christmas Advent Calendar | DIY Advent Calendar

Want to make your own reusable advent calendar? 🎄 In this video, I show you how I made this large 24-drawer advent calendar using cardboard, paper and a few simple craft supplies. The best part is that you don't have to make yours exactly the same size as mine. I show you how to measure the inside of your own outer box and use my grid method to work out the size of your drawers, so you can make an advent calendar to fit the items you want to put inside. I'll take you through: ✨ Making the two outer boxes ✨ Working out the drawer dimensions ✨ Using the grid to calculate your paper sizes ✨ Making 24 individual drawers ✨ Making the lids ✨ Assembling the calendar ✨ Adding ribbon handles and decoration ✨ Numbering the drawers ✨ Filling the finished advent calendar For my calendar, one of the finished drawer is approximately 3cm wide × 14cm deep × 5cm high, but I'll show you how to adapt the measurements for your own project. You can fill your drawers with chocolates, sweets, small gifts, jewellery, craft supplies, messages or anything else that fits.
