DayZ Badlands Review: Is It Really Worth it? (PC & Console) | Nasdara

Is DayZ Badlands worth buying? In this DayZ Badlands review, I take a detailed look at Nasdara, the new desert map, and discuss whether this expansion is worth your money on PC, Xbox and PlayStation. From the first struggle to find water to fighting across rooftops, Nasdara gives DayZ a very different feel. But does a bigger map actually mean a better experience, and do the desert survival mechanics make it more challenging or just more repetitive? I cover the map design, towns, military locations, loot progression, survival, heat, water scarcity, sandstorms, infected, base building, dynamic events and sound. I also discuss how the open terrain and interconnected buildings change PvP, exploration and the journey from a fresh spawn to a geared survivor. There are things I really like about Badlands, but there are also problems worth talking about before you buy it. This is my honest opinion on what works, what needs improving and how Nasdara compares with Chernarus, Livonia and Sakhal. Whether you're a long-time DayZ player deciding on your next map or a returning survivor wondering what the Badlands DLC adds, here's what you need to know. Have you played DayZ Badlands?
