EHS MB* '12 Ice Cream Social EHS Marching Band performs with feeder middle schools

The Eisenhower Marching Panthers held their annual Ice Cream Social on October 24, 2012. The event was planned to bring in the middle school students who would end up at Ike and get them introduced to the program and me. We had two middle schools attend: JHMS, and TJMS. EHS marched their Steely Dan Show - performance titles are Peg, Rikki Don't Lose That Number, and Reelin' In The Years, Directed by Drum Major Allison Burnham. The middle school students joined in on the field to play 25 or 6 to 4, Papa Was a Rolling Stone, and The Race. We ended on the track playing Hail Ike. I was too wrapped up in calling things out to get the camera moved over to the band at the end - sorry. Always a great time to get everyone together, and then hog out on ice cream!! I think this is the only marching band video I have from this year. The Mt. Zion competition dvd got lost with an entire box of videos that never made it back to Eisenhower after the renovation. 🤬
