In this video, I’m sharing 5 important modeling dos and don’ts that can help you make a great impression and build a strong reputation in the industry. Here are the 5 things I cover: 1. ⏰ ALWAYS BE EARLY Being on time is good—but being early is even better. Give yourself enough time to arrive, get settled, and be ready when you're needed. 2. 👗 NEVER EAT, DRINK, OR LOUNGE IN DESIGNER GARMENTS Treat every garment with care. Designer pieces can be extremely delicate, expensive, and difficult to replace, so always be mindful when you're wearing or handling them. 3. 📋 ALWAYS BE PREPARED Come prepared for the job. Know what you're supposed to bring, understand the assignment, have what you need with you, and be ready to work. 4. 🧴 NEVER WEAR LOTION OR BODY OIL BEFORE A FITTING This is especially important when you're going to try on clothing. Oils and lotions can transfer onto garments and potentially stain or damage certain fabrics. 5. 🤝 ALWAYS BE RESPECTFUL TO EVERYONE Treat everyone with professionalism and respect—from the designers and photographers to the stylists, makeup artists, casting directors, coordinators, and other models.
