Flying Above...and Under...One of America's Highest Bridges!! Rio Grande Gorge, NM in 4K!

Decided to stop on my way to Denver for work and get some footage with my ‪@DJI‬ Mini 5 Pro, of this AWESOME bridge in northern New Mexico. The Rio Grande Gorge Bridge is an amazing steel deck arch structure towering 650' above the river, located roughly 10 miles north of Taos on US Hwy 64. This impressive bridge stretches over 1200" across the gorge. Completed in 1965, the bridge was originally named the "Bridge to Nowhere" because funding ran out before the roads connecting to it were completed. In 1966, the American Institute of Steel Construction recognized it as the "Most Beautiful Steel Bridge" in the long-span category. The gorge itself was carved through volcanic rock over many years, creating the dramatic landscape you see today. In this video, I captured some incredible 4K drone footage from both above and below the bridge, showing off this awesome piece of engineering and the beautiful New Mexico landscape around it.
