ETTE+Documentary (with English Subtitles)

English for Teaching-Teaching for English (ETTE+) is a British Council teacher training project to support the development of communicative English language teaching in government primary schools in Nepal. It is a training module particularly designed for teachers who live in remote areas, and who have not yet benefited from training or development opportunities and are lacking in resources. To address this issue in Nepal and to promote a communicative approach to language teaching, the British Council, in association with partners including the Nepal English Language Teachers Association (NELTA) and Global Action Nepal (GAN) initiated a large-scale ETTE+ (English for Teaching, Teaching for English+) project in 2012/13 in Lamjung and Chitwan District with support from the Department of Education and local District Education Office.
