The Origin and the Calling | Acoustic Christian Rock – Grace & Calling

A gospel song about grace, Heaven as home and everyday work as calling. "The Origin and the Calling" is for anyone who wants to seek God out of love for where we came from, not out of fear. The song undoes the idea that Heaven is a hideout for when the earth falls apart. The original blueprint was mankind assuming the craft the Maker made, and grace does not set us free from that task: it makes us stand. The debt is wiped away, the blood reopened the pathway, life has overcome. What remains is an everlasting responsibility, to do within our craft what mirrors the King's reign. Whether in voice, blade, iron or melody, there is no sacred line when the breath is true, because Christ within us is the foundation and the way. Listen when work feels like mere obligation, or when faith is turning into escape. And share it with someone who needs to remember that home is also a starting point. 📝 Lyrics I seek not Heaven fearing that the earth will fall apart I seek my ancient home, the longing of my heart The blueprint at the start was never fear or shade It was mankind assuming the craft the Maker made I spent too many years pretending not to know Yet truth still cries aloud for how I ought to grow Grace doesn't set me free from duty, it makes me stand Restoring my awareness and vigor by His hand! I take my rightful place, the debt is wiped away! The blood that once was shed reopened my pathway! Life has overcome, death has lost the fight Now all my daily toil is seed of Heaven's light! An everlasting task, a bold and sacred claim: To do within my craft what mirrors the King's reign! Whether voice is my field, or the blade is my tool Whether iron is my craft, or melody my rule: There is no sacred line when the breath is true and right Every purpose-driven work reflects the holy light The bond is fully alive, inside my spirit born Bringing forth fruit by hands the Redeemer has adorned! Grace doesn't set me free from duty, it makes me stand Restoring my awareness and vigor by His hand! My home. My starting point. The sacred duty that brings life to this life. Christ within me, the foundation and the way. My part surrendered in His hands today. 🎼 Lyrics: original · Music produced with AI tools (Suno). 🔔 Subscribe for more Christian songs. 🌎 Also in: Português    • A Origem e a Tarefa | Rock Acústico Gospel...   · Español    • El Origen y la Tarea | Rock Acústico Crist...   #ChristianMusic #WorshipSongs #GospelMusic #AcousticWorship #PraiseAndWorship
