What actually counts as a “good work” according to Scripture? In this live Bible study we open Titus chapter 3 and examine both what Paul says is not the basis of salvation and what he says is the proper fruit of those who have been saved by grace.Paul reminds us that we were saved not by works of righteousness that we have done, but according to God’s mercy. At the same time he repeatedly urges believers to be ready for every good work, to devote themselves to good works, and to avoid unfruitfulness. The chapter draws a clear line between works that try to earn God’s favor and works that flow from having already been justified by His grace. In this live stream we will cover: Why good works cannot save us (Titus 3:4–7) What Paul means by being “ready for every good work” The difference between empty religious activity and profitable, excellent good works How believers who have trusted in Christ are called to devote themselves to good works Practical examples of good works that meet urgent needs and adorn the gospel Avoiding the trap of either legalism or carelessness This study is for Christians who want clear, text-driven Bible teaching and preaching that helps them understand the place of good works in the Christian life.Join us live, bring your questions, and let’s examine Titus 3 together.
