Running Billdalsparken parkrun, Gothenburg, Sweden. Swedish National Day Extra parkrun.

The final stop on our whirlwind tour consisting of two parkruns in the Netherlands, one in Germany, one in Denmark and one in Sweden, was Billdalsparken parkrun in Gothenburg. The bus to the park was an experience in itself, jam packed with parkrunners including some friends and familiar faces. The run itself was great, a 2 lap lollipop course. Poppy was joined by her new parkrun friend which melted my heart as they had so much fun together! After the run we had a very brief parkfaff before heading to the airport and flying home. A fantastic end to a wonderful, but exhausting, twelve days abroad with five parkruns! Huge thanks to the fantastic team at Billdalsparken parkrun for a brilliant morning. Happy running, Nicola :)
