Was Alexander the Great actually great? By 30 he ruled the biggest empire the world had ever seen. At 32 he was dead, and it all fell apart.
At 12 he tamed a horse nobody could ride. At 20 he was king. He took down the Persian Empire, crossed a river in a thunderstorm to fight war elephants in India, and never lost a major battle. He also wiped Thebes off the map, killed the friend who once saved his life, and left his empire "to the strongest."
