Sonic 06 - Flame Core -The Cavern- Jazz Cover

Decided to tap back into the Sonic 06 bag this time around with Flame Core. My first time working on something with this samba kind of style but I had a lot of fun with it, hope yall enjoy! If you enjoyed the cover and wanna see more, be sure to like, subscribe, and tap in to the new community discord to meet fellow jazz enjoyers:   / discord   Had to do a bunch of research this time around since I've never attempted this style of music before. Found a band called Quasimode and listened to their album Oneself Likeness from beginning to end a bunch of times to get inspiration on how to tackle this. I didn't deviate too much from the original piece but I did add a lot of my own elements to make it stand out a bit. This is definitely the most percussion work I've had to put into a cover thus far but I definitely think the effort paid off with this one. Outside of music stuff, this month has been pretty chill. Summer is winding down but the uploads have been getting lots of attention, which I thank yall for yet again. The channel is growing pretty big so I figured it would be nice to make a space for the community of people who love video games, anime, and jazz as much as I do, hence the launch of the new discord! It's still in it's baby phases as of right now but as we grow and more people join, I think we can make it a really special place. As always if you read this for, thank you so much for your support. The next cover is up in the air but I do want to step away from VGM this time around and cover something from an anime that sits at a special place in my heart. Hope you guys stay safe out there, I'll catch yall in a few weeks!
