BEAT (Belew, Vai, Levin, Bozzio) - City of Tiny lights. Zappa cover live in Vegas Oct 13 2026

Incredible show last night. We treated ourselves to front row center with BEAT tour. Belew, Steve Vai, Levin and Bozzio is a dream band, and they lived up to that promise. If I’m honest it wasn’t quite as tight as the last tour, and Ade was having a few technical issues. But it was still by far the best show of the year, and Steves solo on Sheltering Sky has somehow got even better than the perfection it became during the last tour (we went to an early, mid and final show and watched brilliance evolve into magic). If you get a chance, go see this tour. Like the last one, and a fine wine, it will only get better with age. And you’ll not get many chances to see a line up like this playing near the edge of their extraordinary abilities. This is Zappa classic City Of Tiny Lights, the first encore, and the only non King Crimson song in the set. Vai, Belew and Bozzio are all Zappa alumni, and Belew sang the original version on Sheik Yerbouti #beat #zappacover #lasvegas #virgin #belew #stevevai #tonylevin #Terrybozzio #adrianbelew #progressive #vegas #vegasmusic #virtuosos #virtuoso #guitar #guitargods #livemusic #80smusic #lasvegasmusic #lasvegaslife #beattouring @BEAT - Official @Adrian Belew
