Here's a rare finding: the old 1960s Metrocolor version of the classic Tom and Jerry cartoon "Designs On Jerry" with the 1954-1955 blue Technicolor MGM Cartoons logo ft. Tanner plastered over by the 1960s black MGM Cartoons logo ft. Leo as seen on all the Gene Deitch-era Tom and Jerry shorts; it is unknown whether this is a from a 1960s theatrical re-release print or an inferior 16mm television print of the 1960s processed in Metrocolor.
Taken from the rare 2002 UK VHS tape "Tom and Jerry Volume 8" distributed by Warner Home Video (not to be confused for Tom and Jerry Classic Collection Volume 8 DVD release also by WHV). Though this inferior print somehow had made it onto a VHS release from the UK, it was however not used for The Art of Tom and Jerry Vol 2 1993 LD set from the U.S. (The 1993 USA LD set instead used a newer video transfer from the late-1980s/early-1990s).
