Volvo CEM overheating (2-2004 V70 P2 GT AWD)

CEM overheating is a reoccuring fault in these cars. It causes all kinds of issues including, but not limited to, windows not functioning, doors not opening (so you are LOCKED INTO YOUR CAR), the dashboard dying, gearbox downshifting, etc. Adding a fan and heatsink did not definitively solve my issues: standing in the hot sun still caused e.g. central locking to malfunction. So I added wiring so I could heat certain components while it was connected to the car. The video of me heating the processor is 10 minutes long, it heats up to 60ºC (140F) and nothing happens. So I skipped uploading this. This video is heating the flash memory that some say is the part that overheats. I also tested the components while the car was in "0" and in "II" position, but they showed no increase in heat, so while it is no proof because the car wasn't running so the CEM was probably not doing much, the problem may be MAINLY caused by the environmental heat, not by heating from the components from within.
