#rangerover Range Rover sport p006a & p1247 RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE #auteldiagnostic

hi and she's back this big girl sadly she has not long been away from the garage and the big range rover was intermittently giving the driver the land rover red light of death on the dash and the message of restricted performance this was going on for a while and the customer decided enough of this red light nonsense lets get this fixed so we had a look and found the fault code p006a initially this was all that was there we checked the dpf as i have seen these engines with the p006a and it was actually a blocked dpf on the other one wich was slowing the turbo down due to back pressure i believe that was the reason the engine failing on that one so bye judging bye the data on the dpf and this fault code we removed the dpf for inspection and it was indeed well soothed up however after refitting and relearning the dpf up the motorway all seemed well until we creeped off the slip road with minimal throttle and back came the light of death so back out with the big autel and indeed we had the same fault code p006a mass or volume air correlation fault this time accompanied bye p1247 turbo under boost as we had just had the exhaust off and checked turbos at that point and found they were spinning freely so i was about to break out the mitivac to find the leak as we were not hearing any boost leaks but low and behold we found the drivers side inlet manifold was split quite common now apparently so so we opted to replace that with the brit part oe equivalent and she's back singing happily again with no more red light of death many thanks for watching if you haven't already then please consider subscribing to the channel thank you stephen also this type if failure can mostly likely be found on jaguar xf and jaguar f pace #landrover #rangerover #rangeroversport #britpart #autel #mechanic
