You can only get a normal rinse cycle if you chose "Casual" or "Rinse/Spin" modes.
In the "normal" load setting, this machine does not fill the tub during the rinse cycle, even when set to "extra heavy". (This means you cannot use liquid fabric softeners or prills, you'll have to use dryer sheets.) Instead, it alternately rotates the load under running water and extracts the water to rinse it. This is referred to as "spray rinse".
Our machine was producing error codes despite being brand new. I located the service manual stuck to the front panel behind the drum and cleared out the error codes, ran a test cycle with no load, and haven't had an error code since.
The water is mixed so that "Warm" is actually tepid. Cool but not ice cold.
I'd like the agitation to be more vigorous and to see more turnover in the wash cycle. It is remarkably quiet while agitating though.
I prefer a large spiral agitator that churns and wrings the load, but these do not seem to be on the market anymore. This seems to still get the load clean, while using less water, and I'll take this over these high-efficiency / "infusor" or front loading pieces of garbage.
The only part of the rinse cycle I edited out of this video was a portion of the spin cycle.
