Demolishing & Rebuilding Our 10-Year-Abandoned Farm — Bringing Animals to Their New Home!
Our journey to transform a 10-year-abandoned farm into a thriving, self-sufficient homestead has reached an exciting new chapter!
After spending weeks clearing overgrown vegetation, restoring the neglected pond, and cleaning up the abandoned property, we are finally ready to bring animals back to this forgotten farm.
But before we can welcome our new animals, there is still a tremendous amount of work to do.
In this episode, our team begins demolishing old structures that are no longer suitable for use. We carefully renovate the buildings that can still be saved, transforming them into practical storage areas for animal feed and farming supplies.
At the same time, we begin constructing new animal shelters and dividing the livestock area into multiple enclosures, ranging from 8 to 20 square meters each.
Every structure is designed to help us create a more organized, functional, and sustainable farming environment.
And then comes the most exciting moment of this journey — our first groups of farm animals finally arrive!
We welcome ducks, chickens, pigeons, quails, guinea fowl, and other beautiful birds to their new home.
Watching hundreds of ducks swimming in the pond, chickens exploring their surroundings, and pigeons settling into their new shelters is an incredible feeling. What was once an abandoned and lifeless property is slowly becoming a vibrant farm filled with activity.
But our dream goes far beyond simply raising animals.
Our ultimate goal is to build a green, self-sufficient, and sustainable farm, where we can grow our own crops, produce more of our animals' food, recycle organic waste into natural fertilizer, and create a balanced farming ecosystem.
We want to reduce our dependence on commercial animal feed, make better use of natural resources, and gradually produce healthy food for the people living and working on our farm.
This is not just a restoration project. It is the beginning of a completely different way of life.
From a farm abandoned for 10 years to a new home for hundreds of animals — every day brings us one step closer to our dream.
There are still many challenges ahead, including building more animal shelters, improving our water systems, growing food crops, and expanding our livestock.
We will continue documenting every stage of this transformation, sharing both the hard work and the rewarding moments along the way.
Thank you for watching and supporting our journey!
