Weisshorn Cresta Est

Weisshorn, the white horn. Yes, if you see it from Bishorn's summit this name is appropriate : its sparkling glacier falls down for many hundreds meters towards valley, leaving people stuck in admiration. Surprisingly elegant, the north ridge reaches the summit filled by towers. What about east? Looking it from east it seems a different mountain. The ridge appears rocky and discontinuous. Who knows what I expect... Weisshorn, il corno bianco. Eh sì, visto dalla cima del Bishorn è proprio così : il suo lucente ghiacciaio precipita per centinaia di metri verso valle, lasciando lo spettatore incantato in ammirazione. Elegantissima, la sua cresta nord arriva alla cima cosparsa di gendarmi. E da est? Da est sembra un'altra montagna. Rocciosa, la cresta appare frammentata, discontinua. Chissà cosa mi aspetta...
