Origami Pattern Studies #38

This week’s pattern explores a stair-step structure made from a series of repeated, parallel folds. The regular geometry and strong stepped lines give the finished model a distinctly Art Deco feel, with a nice contrast between the flat surfaces and the deep relief created by the folds. Another simple pattern, but with a very different visual effect once the whole sheet is folded.
