Korg volca drum & sonicware liven texturelab

No matter what I tried, my music always ended up leaning toward ambient or chill electronica. But I’ve always wanted to explore a much wider range of styles rather than being boxed into just one genre. I kept wanting to make cool music like a friend on Instagram who uses the #texturelab, but I kept hitting a wall for a long time. In the end, the solution was absurdly simple: adding a drum machine finally made everything click, and I was able to get a performance I was genuinely happy with. By the way, the sample running through the TextureLab is borrowed from #suzanneciani 's "Time Lapse." Since I grew up listening to jazz, blues, and progressive rock, I'd love to learn more about electronic music from all of you! If there are any experts out there, please let me know in the comments what genre this track actually is. Is calling it "techno" close enough? I know there are tons of different subgenres within techno, right? #dawless #dawless
