What does recognising civil society as a global public good entail? What can we in Latin America contribute to this debate? Our aim with this report is to ensure that societies retain the effective ability to organise themselves, express diverse views and transform their living conditions autonomously. This is an invitation to place an autonomous and pluralistic civil society at the centre, and to continue building a form of cooperation that recognises the knowledge, voices and role of organisations and social movements in our region.
