ARK UE5.8 Early Launch DELAYED! – New Release Date

ARK’s Unreal Engine 5.8 early launch has been delayed, with Studio Wildcard now aiming to bring the Public Test Realm servers online on Wednesday, 7 October. Today we’re breaking down the latest announcement, what it means for the UE5.8 test launch, and what we’re still waiting to hear before Survivors can jump in. Wildcard says it’s putting the finishing touches on the PTR servers. Wednesday is the current target—not a guaranteed launch—and details on how to join and where to report issues are still to come. This announcement concerns the public test realm, not a new date for the full update. Will you be jumping into the PTR? What are you most hoping UE5.8 improves?
