Thermodynamics Cycle-1

A thermodynamic cycle is a linked sequence of thermodynamic processes (like heating, cooling, compression, and expansion) that changes a system's pressure, temperature, and volume, and eventually returns the working fluid or system back to its exact initial state. Because the system returns to its starting state, the net change in any state property (such as internal energy or entropy) over a complete cycle is zero.
