In November 2015, days after she called 911 to report that four members of her family were dead, Amy Vilardi sat down with a local TV reporter. The reporter asked her to look into the camera and say exactly what she would say to the person who did it. "I can't say that on TV," she said.
In February 2026, a jury in Anderson County, South Carolina found her guilty of all four murders. This is the case of Cathy Scott, Mike Scott, Barbara Scott and Violet Taylor - and of the text message prosecutors put in front of the jury.
