To watch the full video, click on: http://www.chinfo.org/sadhana-podcast Join Swami Sharadananda Sarasvati in this enlightening two-part series on the Devi Mahatmyam, a sacred text from the Markandeya Purana. These talks focus on the celebrated Narayani Stuti (Chapter 11), where the Devas praise the Divine Mother after She destroys the demons Shumbha and Nishumbha. The Narayani Stuti reveals the many facets of the Goddess: She is the Shakti of Lord Shiva, the power behind creation, sustenance, and dissolution of the universe. She is the Supreme Brahman, the eternal refuge and sole protector of all beings, the remover of sorrows, and the bestower of Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha. Manifesting as Sri Lakshmi, Ma Saraswati, and Mahakali, She upholds righteousness and safeguards Her devotees. Through this two-part discourse, Swamiji unfolds the rich meanings of the name “Narayani” and the timeless relevance of Devi worship. These episodes offer seekers a deeper understanding of the Mother’s grace, compassion, and cosmic power. #Devi Stuti #Narayani Stuti #Devi Mahatmyam #Markandeya Purana #Shumbha Nishumbha #Swami Sharadananda Sarasvati #Goddess Narayani #Durga Stuti #Devi worship #Divine Mother #Lakshmi Saraswati Kali #Supreme Shakti #protection of devotees #remover of sorrows #Hindu scriptures #Devi Mahatmyam discourse This has been made possible by the generous support of interested seekers.
