2007 Acura TSX Motor Mount Replacement DIY | Step-by-Step Guide (2004-2008 TSX)

In this video, I tackle replacing all three motor mounts on my 2007 Acura TSX. What started as a simple repair quickly turned into a bigger project when I ran into several unexpected obstacles along the way. My floor jack gave out, so I had to make a trip to buy a new one before I could continue. I also didn't have a swivel socket for one of the hard-to-reach bolts, but thankfully my neighbor came through and let me borrow his. To make things even more interesting, one of the front motor mount bolts stripped out during removal. Once I got the mounts off, I discovered that all three of the old mounts were completely snapped in half, which explained the vibrations and roughness I had been experiencing. As if that wasn't enough, I noticed my thermostat housing had started leaking coolant, so I ended up replacing the thermostat and adding fresh coolant to the system before putting everything back together. Despite all the setbacks, the repair was completed successfully, and the difference is incredible. The car feels smooth again, the vibrations are gone, and it honestly feels like a new car.
