Play Time in the Craft Room | Texture Paste + Stencils = Mixed Media Magic!

Welcome back to Play Time in the Craft Room! In today's video, I'm continuing to fill the pages of my 6x6 disc-bound mixed media art journal. This week's playtime is all about texture! I used Distress Opaque Texture Paste with a stencil to add dimension and interest to my backgrounds, then layered whimsical images, florals, and collage elements to bring the pages together. I love how the black kraft board makes the texture and images really stand out. There was no complicated plan—just a few supplies from my Play Time Basket and some time to experiment, layer, and see where the creative process took me.
