Her first time cycling in the Ardennes

One year together, so of course we celebrated on the bike. For our one-year anniversary I took Jiska to Le Coffee Ride, the cycling café with rooms in Petit-Coo near Stavelot, right in the middle of the Belgian Ardennes. Her first time riding there. On Saturday we rode to Remouchamps, fixed my flat tyre and went up La Redoute, found a gravel road we did not ask for, rode through a hailstorm and came home under a rainbow. On Sunday we climbed the Col du Rosier, took the bike path past the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, and finished with the Côte de Stockeu up to the Eddy Merckx monument. Then cake.
