Simple Living In An African Village ☀️ Cooking A Quick and Testy Lunch For Our Family

Welcome back to City Girl Village Life Africa ❤️🌿 Today, Ifeoma prepares a delicious and hearty plantain porridge for the family, but this simple lunch turns into another beautiful day filled with cooking, laughter, family bonding and authentic African village life. The day begins with Ifeoma bringing out the ingredients she needs to prepare lunch. She washes the cooking pot and begins peeling and slicing the plantains, with little Chidiogo happily helping her. As they work together, the two of them play and laugh, making the cooking process even more enjoyable. After preparing the plantains, Ifeoma pounds fresh pepper and onions before adding them to the pot. Chibueze also gets involved by making the fire, and soon the pot of plantains is placed over the traditional fire. Ifeoma adds water and the remaining ingredients and allows everything to cook slowly. While the food is boiling, Ifeoma and Chidiogo head to the backyard to meet Grandma, who is busy weeding. Ifeoma tries to help her, but Grandma bursts into laughter and tells her to stop! 😂❤️ They eventually return to the house together, where Ifeoma continues preparing the meal. She cuts fresh ugu vegetables while Grandma shows her a simple traditional trick using a wooden stick to make chopping the vegetables easier and faster. The vegetables are then added to the bubbling plantain porridge and everything is stirred together properly. After cooking for some time, the delicious meal is finally ready. Ifeoma tidies up the compound, dishes the food into a large serving tray and serves lunch for the family. The children gather around the table, and everyone enjoys the delicious meal together.
