https://www.paypal.me/MorToneStudio In this video I get more into the philosophy of bass choice and tones w/ the Woodcraft 30" scale bass.
Why the tone is SO much better than any Fender I ever played IMO :
The bridge is duralumin, saddles are coated bronze...big difference in tone and durability to brass and aluminum. Duralumin is a strong, lightweight alloy of aluminum, primarily composed of aluminum, copper, magnesium, and manganese, known for its high strength, especially after heat treatment, and used in applications like aircraft construction and building materials. High Strength: Duralumin is significantly stronger than pure aluminum, especially after heat treatment.
Lightweight: It's known for its low density, making it suitable for applications where weight is a critical factor.
Ductile and Workable: It can be easily shaped and formed.
Age-Hardened: Its strength can be significantly increased through a process of heat treatment and aging.
Brass and bronze are both copper alloys, but brass is made with zinc, while bronze is typically made with tin, leading to differences in color, strength, and applications. Strength and Durability: Bronze is generally stronger and more durable than brass due to its tin content. Sound: Bronze produces a lower-pitched, more resonant sound than brass.
