In June 2019, a Coast Guard boarder jumped onto a narco sub running at full speed in the eastern Pacific and pounded on the hatch until five men climbed out. Below them were more than 17,000 pounds of cocaine.
Real Coast Guard footage of semi-submersible boardings from 2011 to 2026: the first narco sub ever caught in the Caribbean, a crew jumping overboard as their sub went down, the 2015 record seizure, a helmet camera inside a sub, a night boarding, a low-profile boat packed with cocaine, and a 70-foot sub that sank in 2026.
